WI-FI NETWORK

Advantages of using Wi-Fi network

1. The network is convenient.

Due to its wireless nature, the users of the network can access the network services from any location as long it is within the perimeter and from a variety of devices.

3.  Mobility of the network.

Users of this network have an added advantage since they can access it from any other place which is different from the working environment.

4. Speed.

The network users can enjoy fast browsing speed since the Wi-Fi network mainly supports high speeds of network connection.

5. Integration of the network into devices is quite easy.

Most of the devices that use network are designed such that Wi-Fi settings will be configured easily in the device.

6. Flexibility

If at any time one is required to change the network due to certain circumstances, the Wi-Fi network can be easily updated to ensure it meets the new configuration.

Disadvantages of using Wi-Fi network.

1. When the users of the network increase to a large number, the speed of the network decreases to a certain extent.
2. Security of the network may be interfered with.

Authentication process required to gain access to this network may be spread to many individuals using this network services leading to many individuals even those who are not authorized accessing the network.

3. The network may need troubleshooting if a network issue arises and only technical experts would be able to rectify the issue if it occurs. The users of the network may be unable to sort the network issue and have to wait till the technical experts arrive and rectify the issue.
