This is a system which consists of a menu with a variety of food products available where a customer makes an order, reviews the product in the ordering process and an order is placed successfully for delivery.
Advantages of canteen automation system.
1. Review and feedback on orders are available. The system provides review services before an order is placed for the customer to confirm the order of the product and rectify if a mistake is made, after the order is placed they get a feedback on whether their order is received or not.
2. The system provides a summary of orders that are placed. A summary produced by the system can be used to update orders status and the order summary can also be printed.
3. The system produces reports. Reports generated by the automated system can be printed and consists of data such as information of the registered people and also shows the total number of sales that take place in the canteen.
4. System is user friendly and easy to use. It is designed in such a way that users can easily navigate through the system and place their orders successfully without requiring help or guidance on using the system.
5. Easy accessibility of the system. All that one requires to place an order in the system is an internet connection and with the advancement in technology, majority of the people own an android phone and can use it to access the application or website developed to offer the canteen services.
