Due to evolvement of how processes are carried out in various industries we have seen huge applications of robots in the industries.
Introduction
What is robot, Refers to any automatically operated machine that is computer programmed and it is used to replace human efforts. Robots may not resemble human exactly in apperance but it can perform human task in an automatic manner without human intervention. Due to evolvement of how processes are carried out in various industries we have seen huge applications of robots in the industries. below are some of various industrial applications of robots;

a.loading and unloading robots, Robots are bieng utilised in industries for loading and unloading machines and other parts of machines.These use of robots has hence replaced human labor. Robots possses ability of accuracy,consistency and also working tireless.Future robots are expected to fully replace human in loading and unloading.
b.spot welding, robots perform in accuracy welding process in reccuring manner thats why their being used in automative industries, they reach places whereby no human can reach since their not affected by weather conditons.
c.Arc welding, surrounding of arc welding are unsafe for fitness of humans also for accuracy of arc welding it doesn't require manual operations.Thats why their rapid increase in usage of robots in arc welding. Use of robots is more economical and ensures quality service is achieved.

d.painting, robots are preferred since painting is unhealthy operation where hazardous fumes are released that are dangerous to humans, also it may occur a risk of explotion in area of operation thus why robots are prefered.Manual painting may also be a slower process accompanied by innaccuracies.
e.Investment casting, investment casting all it requires is accuracy,uniformity and duplication that's why automotive robots are preffered more as compared to manual operation.
f.Integration of parts, Robots are being used in tightening bolts and nuts, placing of circuit boards and also identification of defects in macnines
