Outsourcing refers to process whereby a company hires third party so that it can perform its services.Instead of hiring IT support staff it outsource the services, this strategy is adopted by companies so as to cut off operational cost. Outsourcing can be in one's country or outside's one country. Outsourcing can help company benefit in terms of labor and expertise charges cost likewise it is also accompanied by challenges such as time and language barrier.

1.0 control IT cost, allows you cut cost since you only pay what you need at the time of use. Also cost are reduced since it convert cost from fixed to variable.

2.0 reduce labor cost, training employees can be very expensive process but if company outsource the services it doesn't need to train since they are experts in areas.  Organisation therefore just focus on human resource where they  need most.

3.0 Trained, certified, experienced and qualified, outsourcing exposes you to experienced and qualified personnels in that field, also they don't require much training.

4.0 New technology, outsourcing exposes you to new and upto date technology features hence mking you more competitive to the market.

                                   Disadvantages 

1.0 time barrier, this may biggest due time diffference incase one is outsourcing from foreign countries which may posess time zone difference.

2.0 trust issues, outsourcing may land you to conmens who may end-up exploiting you and deliver poor quality service or fail to deliver.

3.0 additional cost such as maintenance of the purchased softwares which may turn up to be more expensive.
