Internet of things have started to evolve due to convergence of multiple technologies, embedded systems, sensors e.t.c. the extend of use of internet of things is basically classified into consumer, commercial, infrastructure and space. The following are examples of real time use of internet of things
a.Smart home in these scenario it enables user to control hi/her home appliances while youe are far, like you can switch off lights or air condition while at office. Basicaly what your need is just an application which will be configured in your phone and it will directly control your accessories and home appliances.
b.Wearables wearable devices got huge demand in market and that why companies like samsung have heavily invested in them. These wearables are installed a sensor or a software which is used to record daily user activities. The wearables are suitable for fitness or entertainment purpose.
c.connected cars, automative digital technology is one of growing technology in which manufucterers of cars try to optimize internal purpose of the cars. Manufucturers of cars try to install a sensor which monitors car's performance and track it incase of theft.

c.Smart cities, In scenarios like smart surveillance, automated transportation, urban security and also environmental monitoring. By installing a sensor and connecting it to web application citizen can find a free parking space across the city.Sensor can also detect issues of electricity tampering or failure in the city. Sensor can also notify one incase of congestion or traffic in the roads.
d.IoT in agriculture with increased population in the world demand of food has increased globally, hence government has intervened to enable farmers increase productivity of food supply.sensors are applied to detect moisture and nutrients in the soil, pest invention and also control water usage in the farms.
e.Smart retail, IoT enable retailers to connect with customers hence ehnance more sells.Interacting through smartphones and beacon technology enables retailers serve customers better.
f.Iot in healthcare, the concept of connected healthcare system and smart medical devices bears multiple potential for the company and also well-being of the people.IoT in healthcare will enable individuals live a healthier life these through wearing connected devices which collect data of individual's health.
g. IoT in farming and poulrty,Iot in farming and poultry is used to monitor health and and well-being of cattles, chickens, goats etc. it will notify farmer incase of a disease in the poultry so to avoid huge losses and also faster spread of the infection.
